Bimbo Memorial Fountain

This now-dry fountain, currently located in the courtyard at Morrisson-Reeves Library, once stood outside the original library to offer children and dogs a fresh drink of water - children from the top and dogs from the bottom. It was donated in memory of a patron's dog...Bimbo.

Did You Know?

Wayne County was formed in 1811. It was named for General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, who was an officer during the Revolutionary War. Wayne is mainly remembered for his service in the 1790's in the Northwest Indian War, which included many actions in Indiana and Ohio.
