Present:
Annual Meeting Called to Order:
President Dudley Fetzer called the meeting to order
at 12:00 p.m. in the Richmond Power and Light Board Room.

Highlights:
Wayne County’s Secret Asset article was
published in the Pal-Item, written by Gary Arndts
Jane sees the need to get out into the community
more to tell the Waynet benefits
Twitter and Facebook increased usage in the first
half of the year and that is slowing down now.
Thanks to Jodi and Dudley for keeping Waynet.org
running while she was on vacation in August.
Jane is setting-up several subjects for the upcoming
Wayne County Connections tapings.
Updated Google Analytics for Waynet.org
Jodi Johnson praised Jane for her hard work and
commitment to Waynet.org. She also commended Jane for the lovely
photos she presents on the website.

Dudley Fetzer asked for a motion to accept the proposed
slate of nominees. Richard Peterson so moved. Tim Love seconded. The
motion was unanimously approved.
Slate of Officers, 2010-2011:
Proposed slate of officers for 2010-20111 includes:

slate of officers. Tim Love so moved. Jodi Johnson seconded. The motion
was unanimously approved.
Old Business:
The meeting minutes were approved for the July 8 board
meeting. David Burton so moved. Randy Baker seconded. The motion was
unanimously approved.
New Business:
A Fall Board Retreat was discussed. Jane will post a
calendar online for board members to tally when they could attend a
retreat. This retreat will focus on the history of Waynet, goals,
analysis, strengths, weaknesses and our future in the community. It was
discussed that a local facilitator be sought. A planning committee was
comprised of Rob Tidrow, Jane Holman, Beth Fields, and Tim Love.
Adjournment:
Being no further business Rob Tidrow asked for a motion to adjourn. Bill
Pendley so moved. Tim Love seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at
12:55 p.m.
