The new Model T Museum, located next to Warm Glow Candle Outlet is now open.  Visit Tuesday through Sunday from 10 to 5.  Admission is FREE!

Rows of quiet greenhouses remind us of the heyday of Hill's Roses, when Richmond was called "The Rose City" becasue it was the largest grower of roses under glass.  Today, most florists' roses come from South America.
Bird feeders are busy in late winter when natural food is scarce.  This downey woodpecker is enjoying a black oil sunflower seed. The offices of the Wayne County Sheriff are housed in the correctional center, one of the newer buildings in Richmond's downtown government campus.
The aptly named "Harbinger of Spring" wildflower has announced the coming of spring in area woodlands.
