While the pastoral setting of rural Wayne County looks relaxing it's a busy time for area farmers.

The flowers are in full bloom this week at the Richmond Rose Garden.
Richmond was long known for being the "Rose City" as it was once the largest grower of roses under glass. Most florist roses now come from South America. Area parks offer a fun and safe place for childhood adventures.
A hot air balloon "night glow" followed by a fireworks display gave a rousing ending to the 2006 Wayne County 4-H Fair.
