  • Wayne County Connections TV Show (Viewers directed back to website /Page)
    • Taped 1 show segments:
    • May show tapes next week and will feature Richmond Power & Light: Randy Baker, guest.
    • The WC Connections page received 16 pageviews from 14 users from April 16 through May 13 per Google Analytics.
  • Twitter - we now have 2,334 followers. Have sent 4,206 tweets. During April, we had 5,741 impressions, and 0 new followers.
  • Facebook - 1,577 people "like" our Facebook page (1.2% increase), 76% are female, 23% male.
  • Our Flickr account regularly receives 500 to 1,600 views daily. Occasionally, we will have an anomaly and it bursts up to 20,000+ in one day. Our 15,915 photos have received 4,396,922 views since we joined in 2005. We have 198 followers.
  • Our Instagram account (@waynet_org) has 93 posts, 392 followers and 357 following.

Issues & Projects for April / March

  • Still wrestling with Google Search. Still searching for solution to the fact that Google can't "see" our new calendar". Updated robot.txt file, but doesn't seem to have solved the issue.
  • Created RFP (Request for Proposal. Researched a variety of vendors, called and sent RFP to 6 vendors.
  • Setup Budget in Quickbooks
  • Finish adding information from Parks & Rec Summmer Bulletin
  • Begin trying to do planned social media postings once a week -at least 1 on Sunday evening.
  • Prepare and file Federal and State Tax forms.

    • Still searching for fix for "robots.txt" issue that Google is returning for our calendar section. Any help appreciated!

    My To-Do List:

    • Still need to work on transfering data from Access into a Google Spreadsheet so we don't lose the information.
    • Website Overhaul - review log analysis, research technical options and trending layouts
    • Ongoing: Schedule guests for County Connections.
    • Ongoing: Make calls on members/potential members
    • Ongoing: Continue to review & update web pages.
    • Prepare & Mail invoices and statements each month, Accounts Receivable
    • Ongoing - Review files for clean up using Screaming Frog SEO spider and Optimizr.com.
    • Set up Internship/Volunteer Program
