Tools for Schools
Tools for Schools is a community effort to collect school supplies for distribution in Richmond elementary schools to those students who may need some help with affording basic school supplies. 100% of donations go to local students. The program is run with volunteers with absolutely no overhead costs. Roscoe's Rescue, Inc.
Attention animal lovers - be sure to visit WayNet's new member Roscoe's Rescue, Inc., an animal shelter located in Hagerstown. They do not believe in euthanization as a means of pet birth control; they only euthanize animals that are too ill to recuperate (per veterinarian exam) or that are deemed to be dangerous. Party of the Century - Ford Model T Centennial
No doubt you've heard by now....the party of the century is being held right here in Wayne County!  Next week (July 21 - 26, 2008) nearly 900 Model T cars will come to Richmond as part of the celebration of this vehicle that changed our society.  The cars will register at the Wayne County Fairgrounds but there will be many opportunities to see them around the county as well. 

The public is invited to visit the fairgrounds to see the cars and attend the many events planned.  Entrance fee is $5.00 per person.  Parking is free and will be located on the west side of Salisbury Road across from the Wayne County Fairgrounds.  A .pdf with the full schedule of events is linked below.
