Log Outhouse

The Wayne County Historical Museum has a new addition to it's log cabin collection, a log outhouse! Now children can see for themselves what Grandma and Grandpa mean when they talk about "walking the path" to the outhouse or privy at their grandparents' house when they were young.

Did You Know?

Richmond was once known as "the lawnmower capital" because of the lawn mowers manufactured here from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century. Manufacturers included Motomower, Dille-McGuire and F&N.
