Levi Coffin House State Historic Site |

During the 20 years Levi Coffin lived in Newport (now Fountain City), Indiana, he helped more than 2,000 slaves escaped to freedom via the Underground Railroad. This home became known as the "Grand Central Station" of the Underground Railroad. |
