Freedom Fountain Honors Local Veterans
This fountain, located south of the City of Richmond Administration Building at 50 North Fifth Street, honors local veterans who served in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.


The plaque in front says:
Freedom Fountain: Donated and built by the Citizens of Wayne County in grateful appreciation and eternal remembrance of Wayne County Veterans, of all wars, killed in action or declared missing, who have made the supreme sacrifice that freedom might continue to bless mankind.  Dedicated November 11, 1968.
