Issues & Projects for May/June

Attended Webinar: The Science of Analytics
Planning/communication/taping for Wayne County Connections
Continue work on CSS Layout in Dreamweaver.
- Research & install EasyRotator for home page images.
Work with Cam Hart, web developer at RP&L, on correct Dreamweaver setup. Uninstall/reinstall Dreamweaver.
Receive training on Pictometry from City of Richmond staff member.
Research QR software/readers.
Attended Staff meeting at Morrisson-Reeves Library.
Content:
- Continue working on content required for new layout.
- Check for broken links on multiple pages.
- Created new pages for new site to link to.
Administration:
- File Business Entity Report with the State of Indiana
- Battery backup dies. Purchase new equipment.
- Fuzzy monitor. Research. Download driver. Run update.
Website Maintenance:
- Added/Removed members as required.
- Update logos, links, as requested.
- Review and update page links & calendar events, as necessary. Take photos.

My To-Do List:

Website Overhaul - continue basic layout/template setup, begin reorganizing folders and files, setup new pages as required for new layout, add auto file transfers to .htaccess as required.
Set up Internship/Volunteer Program

These figures were created by the AWStats program offered online by our web host. We also track usage with Google Analytics. For comparison, visitrichmond.org shared that their site received 3,678 visits in January 2011.

Monthly figures are posted on the Top Twenty page. Current average is 55,461 user sessions per month. Web page views are averaging 240,076. Users sessions increased 12% after a 15% decrease in April. Page views experienced a 3% increase in May after a 10% decrease in April - regaining some ground.

1st Quarter 2011 - Quarterly figures for user sessions increased 11% from 4th Quarter. Page views increased by 1% in the first quarter following a 7% decrease in the fourth quarter.

2010 Yearly Figures show a 5% decrease to 689,268 users requesting 3,146,660 pages as compared to 723,398 users requesting 2,781,969 pages in 2009. This is a 5% decrease in users and a 13% increase in page views over 2009.
