Hello! I am searching for my greatgrandfather's roots. His name was ROLLA HAYWOOD STEVENS (ssometimes spelled Roland Stephens on Census reports) and he died in Lexington Kentucky on March 28 1953. He was taken to be buried in the Centerville Cemetery. I am looking for anyone who may remember him or his family. My mother was his grand daughter and was smuggled out of the United States and taken into Canada in 1923 when she was 3 days old. I would dearly love to find what happened to her mother Florence, who was Rolla's daughter. He also had a daughter who married a Delbert Barnes, and a son Kenneth R Stevens. They would have been born right around the turn of the last century. My thread of hope is that some of the family stayed in or around Centerville, and someone on this page may know them. I would be so thrilled to hear any input anyone has, and probably do handsprings to find out I have cousins!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much,
Dixie Lee Steene
