I look at this picture of a dilapidated spring-fed fountain and think of how sad it is. I remember when the fountain was working well and we use to visit there at times years ago. The spring-fed fountain at the south side of Glen Miller is used quite a lot and in good weather, there is a waiting line. Repairing and expanding the fountain at the NE section of the park would help cut down the waiting time for water. An article in the paper about it's location would help alleviate some of the crowd who have to wait at the south end of the park. Granted, the fountain doesn't generate any money for the city as the pool does but let's not have a precious commodity like spring water not be at our disposal.

I THINK THIS ALL GOES BACK TO ARE CITY LEADERS
AND RIGHT WING THINKING ITS MORE INPORTANT TO PUT THEIR NAMES ON A MARBEL FLOOR IN OUR PURPOSED NEW COUNTY JAIL ON THE BEST REALISTATE IN TOWN THAN IT IS TO SEE THAT OUR PUBLIC PARKS ARE KEPT UP AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE PAID RIGHT AND ARE QUALIFIED

Daren,
We welcome your opinions but let's keep our apples and oranges straight....the jail is funded with county money and the parks are funded through the city's budget.
