Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)  -  (765) 983-7309
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Richmond/Wayne County is a senior powered program that provides exciting and fulfilling volunteer opportunities for Seniors that are 55 years and older.  We encourage all seniors that are volunteering or seeking volunteer opportunities, to contact the R.S.V.P. office to match skills that will better impact the community.

Nutrition Program  -  (765) 983-7350
Hot meals are served on a daily basis at 11:30 a.m. in the dining area of the Richmond Senior Community Center.  Donations are based on your monthly income.  Seniors are asked to call 24 hours in advance to reserve a meal.  Meals can also be delivered daily to the homebound for those who qualify.   You must be referred by Area IX for the homebound meal program. Area IX can be reached at (765) 966-1795.

Widowed Persons Services (WPS) - (765) 983-7307
Provides one-to-one support for all widowed persons regardless of age, sex, race or economic background.  We train widowed volunteers to be available to support newly bereaved persons.  These dedicated volunteers help with the process of healing following the death of one's spouse.

Support groups are led by a retired registered nurse who has been widowed approximately 20 years, and are held quarterly.  Call (765) 983-7307 for next class time & locationNumerous educational and social programs are also held. Call for information or to be placed on the mailing list for our monthly newsletter.
