Winter Storm Information
Wayne County is under a winter storm warning, which remains in effect until 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 2nd. More sleet, more freezing rain, more snow and rain is expected.

As of 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1st, Wayne County will be under a Level III Snow Emergency with all non-emergency travel on Wayne County roads prohibited.  Read the full release here: http://local.nixle.com/alert/4645602/

Safety First!
With ice storms, it's not unusual to experience power outages due to downed power lines.  Assume any line that is down is live and report it to 911.  If you're using an alternative power or heat source, be sure to follow these safety tips from the Indiana State Fire Marshall:
