TIME TO DISCARD YOUR OUTDATED PROPANE TANK!
Barbeque propane gas cylinders which do not have an overfill prevention device (OPD) will no longer be allowed to be refilled after April 1, 2002. There is a voluntary program to accept these dangerous cylinders and recycle them.

ROSE VIEW TRANSIT IS NOW OFFERING EVENING SERVICE
Richmond's bus service, Rose View Transit, is now offering evening services. Evening hours are Monday through Friday, 5:45 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Call (765) 983-7227 for detailed information.

Route information is as follows:
**The bus will deviate at any requested points along the way as long as they are on the same side of Richmond.**

NORTH SIDE
4:45 p.m. - 6:45 - 8:45 - 10:45
Departs from the uptown parking garage. This will allow riders to
transfer from their regular neighborhood routes to the Express Bus.
The bus will then head up U.S. 27 North as far as Meijer's.
SOUTH SIDE
5:15 p.m. - 7:15 - 9:15 - 11:15
The bus will be traveling back down U.S. 27, going south, through the
parking garage to allow riders wanting to transfer from their regular
routes. The bus will go as far south as Golden Rule Nursing Home on
Straightline Pike, head out Boston Pike, travel through Riley Hills
area, hit South "L" Street, up to South 23rd through Country Club
Apartments, out to South "E" Street, down to South 12th and on to
East Main Street, where the bus will then head east.
EAST SIDE
5:45 p.m. - 7:45 - 9:45 - 11:45
The bus is going east through the shopping plazas, beginning with
Wal-Mart and ending at Gateway Mall (Target/Thornburg's). It will go
as far east as Lowe's and Cracker Barrel. The bus will then head
west on U.S. 40 to South 22nd Street (Glen Miller Park hill). It will
turn on 22nd up to Grand Blvd, where it will head west, over the
Richmond Avenue bridge to Northwest 5th Street.
WEST SIDE
6:15 p.m. - 8:15 - 10:15
Now on the west side, the bus will turn off Richmond Avenue, turning
south on Northwest 5th Street, up to West Main. It will travel West
Main Street all the way out to Salisbury Road. It will then turn
south and go through K-Mart shopping center. The bus will then head
east on U.S. 40 all the way back to the center of town and turn on
U.S. 27 North, heading back out to the north end of Richmond.
11:45 to 12:45
The bus will head directly to the East/West side factories for pick
ups and drop offs.
